Carb question?

Postby Ballores » Fri Sep 03, 2010 1:41 pm

Thanks for helping with the thermostat questions all sorted ,I now have a carb question.
I have a twin weber on my car someone has removed the choke butterflys for improved downdraught :?: as you do and when I start it I need to give it a few beans at 5.45 AM as you can imagine my popularity with the neighbours is diminishing rapidly :D
to save my skin would a Sierra manual choke carb suffice to keep the peace or should I try and source a weber ? Sooner would be better methinks thanks in advance Nick.

If you stick the sierra carb back on you'll be reducing power....

I'd see whats available from weber or ebay. You might be able to pick a whole weber carb up cheap enough from ebay

I going on the run tomorrow via newlands if anyone can give to you.
