Well I may have moaned about Stafford today but I did move a lot closer to finalising the engine swap for November.

2.0L Blacktop, Jenvey's, Emerald K6, Denso Alternator kit, Hi-Torque Starter, Raceline Sump, Ready to fit and mapped ready to run.

Agreement on price and delivery to be finalised by mid October :D

I is a happy Bunny........... almost :P

Nice, looking forward to seeing it all done. Are you getting the water pump and idler set-up & waterrail from Raceline as well ?

It was discussed but I may not be able to stretch to it within my budget. I have left the final negotiation until mid October when I have the cash in my hand. That then allows me to focus the vendors mind and sharpen his pencil........ I hope ;)

If I agree this spec then mechanically its a straight swap as the bellhousing is the same and the engine mounts are supplied. I'm working on the premise that the ECU is supplied with the engine and it comes with maps so is plug 'n' play. As much as any of these things are.

Should come with a base map, but youw ill need to get it mapped propperly as drivetrain and all the other crap with affect how the engine picks up ect... may i ask why a K6 when K3 are going pretty cheap now because of the K6 ?

Also engine details, claimed outputs????

Probably because it's supplied with the engine as a package ;)

had to ask ben as this is neil after all, penny pinchin northan monky :lol: i wouldnt be surprised if it's being sourced from 5 different sources :)
