Right following last weeks 'hiccup' we have changed the way that the Calendar Notification works.
If you see an event that interests you or that you are taking part in/want to take part in then there is now a JOIN button. If you press that button you get added to the list of attendees and you will get 1 email ( promise ) as a reminder 3 weeks before that Event.

Why bother? Well over the past few years we have had long lists of folks who say that they fancy joining an event that is sometime ahead, come the week that its happening a massive number suddenly remember that they had their name down and that it now conflicts with X/Y. 'Joining' an event is a gentle way of getting a reminder that you have something Club wise looming so that you can get yourself/diary in order.

As a side reminder. There (should) now be an extra space for you to add a second picture/photo to your profile, many have Avatars that are non car related; this gives you the opportunity of popping a 2nd pic up of your car etc.
