Odyssey Extreme batteries

Hope this isn't a dumb question but do Odyssey Extreme batteries have to be mounted upright or can they lay on the side. I've seen some pictures which appear to show them on the side.

you can mount them in any orientation you like they are sealed gel batteries

Yep any way you want but remember that you want to make sure the terminals are clean and free from road dirt
