yep that was a good watch. It left me wondering what comms/marshaling there is in some of the lesser/more amateur events....given that a few cars ended up plumb in the way for anything else that would be following.....

Been there done that... great fun :D

As for marshalling the forestry commission are now requesting that marshals have line of sight to the next marshal on the route which will be impractical in the forest.

BTW one of the functions that the radio crews perform is to record which cars have gone past then using the previous car field on the time card any missing competitors can quickly be found ;)
