While fitting the tyres I thought I'd try these. What do you think?

Not normally into adornments unless they make cars go/stop quicker. But thought I'd try something different (for me).

the practical side of me says - 'yep, saves scuffing a wheel', the other side of me says ' nope'. But then i like the look of our cars stripped back to basics......if you tell me they're worth 10lb of torque may change my mind

They're a good idea Chris and as rim protectors seem to work well. If I was fitting them I'd probably use black ones, the coloured ones are a bit too Halfords for me.

I like the coloured accent, but I've never been a big fan of plain black wheels.

Presume the are Alloy gators. I had them fitted to the GTM front wheels but they had to be taken off when the car went to Boss Racing for geometry. They certainly saved my wheels from further damage on a number of occasions not due to kerbing but the dreaded potholes. Now got a new set of wheels on the way so will probably have to get another set.
