interesting to see if it happens ....pros and cons obviously, one of the cons being a pity that the view point at the Chinese/Bar would go. I never saw the race first hand without the chicanes, but clearly getting speeds of up to the 250 mark in days past on an average piece of tarmac was always going to need curbing in some way. Not sure that i'd be a fan of the cars just streaming down the whole length at 215/220, the chicanes do add a bit of 'watchers variety'.
