Back on the road

Postby steve m » Fri Apr 07, 2017 5:29 pm

So, after a winter of discontent, well disinterest really,

I have rebuilt the gear box, AGAIN!

A new propshaft, thanks Dick, for putting me in touch with a good company, that made it for me,

Back on the engine is the lightened flywheel, as I managed to put the wrong one (heavy) on last time

So far it seems to be all ok, and goes well, and I got it up to 6.5k in fourth going up hill, mmm, that's 70 + 35 according to the sat nav, so ..............

However, I will say, that every time I drive my "7" toy car, especially the first time of a winter layover, I am amazed how I ever managed to build such a thing, from scratch, as did a couple of others on SKCC and all from a pathetic book, "build a sports car for £250" hahahhahaha, the 250 bit is wrong, but the rest is right

Anyway, im back in the game

steve
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at
