Took a leisurely drive through the lanes up to Box Hill this afternoon just to give the car a run. An enjoyable drive in the sun. Stopped at the lights on the A24 just north of Dorking and an Audi somewhat rudely pulled up in the outside (third) lane which rapidly disappears down to two lanes. I'm not having that I thought so gave it the beans from the lights........as he passed at speed me I noticed the RS6 badge on the tailgate....briefly
A quick cup of tea later I headed for home only to catch up and overtake a 1966 Mustang, fairly sedately driven at first he overtook me in a cloud of V8 smoke on the dual carriageway, after which we had a bit of fun on the way home, he could outrun me on the straights, but I rapidly closed on him on the twisty bits
Must get out more often
