Not familiar with this neck of the woods. It was the only date/location I could do. Has anyone driven here?
Hopefully it will be drier than the last outing at North Weald Airfield!

Only heard of it in relation to the Hercs. Interested to hear how you get on. Assume it is a cone course.

Thought I'd try one of the less commonly driven 'circuits' and the dates worked.
Will be fun either way, will let you know what it's like. Hopefully this glorious weather will hold.
Very strict security I know that much!

Re: Has anyone driven MoD Lyneham?
In summary, with the exception of the weather in the morning this was a great day.
Typical runway based circuit, good for beginners and those wishing to push themselves a bit more and have room for errors/spins etc. Good mixture of low and high speed corners and a half decent straight to stretch your legs and test your brakes(!), plenty of run off and room to press on without hurting the car.
If there was a negative I'd say that the surface was quite abrasive and in parts quite a lot of gravel especially off line. But definitely worth a go.
