Skill Shack

Gents( and Linda), not sure if any of you have come across Skill Shack website before.
Think i first got sent a link many months ago through facebook, it is linked to Practical Classic magazine and Lancashire Insurance but not to any particular cars, i watched a few of the free teaser videos but was not sure the full site would offer what i wanted/enough interest for me that I would be willing to commit to a subscription, but i subscribed to the news letter email updates and kept an eye on it and bided my time, whilst putting up with a few of the strange accents, twangs of the presenters.
They had a demo/showstand at the Birmingham NEC classic car show I went to and week or so later had an offer of £1 vice £14.99 for 3 months subscription via the newsletter links, so decided to go for it.
This give unlimited access to all the site and usable on many devises so since then i have watched many of the course videos and classes, the duration of these range from a few minutes to mid 20 mins so ideal to watch whilst waiting for other half to finish shopping etc, there is also a FA Question section.
As you can imagine it is based on classic car maintenance, repair, restoration, checks.
I have used the site to refresh known knowledge, learn some more including stuff I might now have a go at in the future, much of the info is cross over to kit car being that many of us use components from 70s and 80s cars as well as general info like bleeding brakes, diagnosing steering and tyre related issues also of use to our daily drivers.
i really enjoyed the welding course and think many will enjoy the site if not only to get to know a bit more about what you car is doing underneath you, getting it back on the roads (and out with the club hopefully), to discussion points on the forum etc.

enjoy.

Glad your keeping up with all this stuff Rich, as you are the "kit car road going AA" and as such need to keep up with every detail, as for the rest of us, we will just do what we always do

NOTHING or breakdown, normally at the worst place/country
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at
