I’ve been having problems with my starter when COLD just took the starter out and found the main body loose
One of the screws that holds it together is missing (in the bell housing somewhere unless it’s been spat out already) I’ve spent ages looking for it and can’t see it so I guess it’s been spat out of the clutch arm hole. And the other is loose so hopefully I can rob another starter of a screw and do the other up and all will be ok

Had that happen to one of mine - how come it NEVER happens on the donor car?
