Thank you for your kind thoughts, it was an unexpected, but not traumatic passing so it is more needing the time to get the funeral arranged than anything darker.

No taker for the tickets so are you all OK if I give them to someone at work and they turn up in a tin top?

Certainly my idea was more about having a bit of brekkie and a gentle run to the Show, rather than the other way round.....

anyways, unless someone has a better idea, mine is to be at Rykas for about 08.00 and away from there around 09.00/.15

Just been chatting to Mark... is there any/enough interest from the North West contingent to meet for pre-show brekkie? Otherwise we'll just meet at Pease Pottage and see you there.

On the paperwork that came through the post it says to arena is open (to us) from 6:45 and they'd like us in no later than 9:45. So by that reckoning it's probably a good idea that we aim to be rolling into Dunsfold no later than 9:15 with the expectation of traffic.

Thanks Russ, but I think we'll head in direct so as to get a sensible departure time from home.

I'll meet for brekie somewhere.

Rykas at Box Hill (just north of Dorking) is open from 8 a.m. If you're coming round the M25 then it's convenient, but maybe not so much so for those coming from the south. It's 20 miles from Dunsfold.

There is the cafe at the top of Newlands Corner, but I do not know when it opens. Seems to be later, 08:30/9:00, so prob too late.

We were going to head staright there, aiming for about 9:15 arrival as per maps but will probably get a bit caught up in traffic on the way.

I assume we will be directed to the same spot (SKCC stand)at site.

Right given those responses I'll make an executive decision that I'll be meeting Mark G at Pease Pottage services for a bacon bap at 8AM (possibly a bit earlier if we decide). If anyone else would like to meet us there make yourselves be known.

The paperwork also says no car to leave the arena before 16:00 unless escorted by a marshal. I need to be gone by 15:00 at the latest so if anyone else needs to leave early let me know and hopefully we can do it together with minimum fuss.

We will probaly join you in leaving at the same time.
