I was prepared to call a recovery truck if I found something else wrong after fitting the shock as would mean it would not get dragged up onto a truck scraping the chassis, been there and done that. So happy it got me home, it all felt fine but want to get it all up in the air and have a good look at the ball joints as well and probably the sus geometry again if I can rather that shoot another set of tyres.
I caught it hard enough to bend my cycle wing stay that i had to sort to allow the wheel to rotate easily.
Rich.

Well done Rich, I think its fair to say that would have defeated us mere mortals.

This must be deserving of some kind of SKCC award...........I'd of called the recovery people
Tiger Cat E1 - 2008-2009
Tiger R6 - 2009-2014
Austin Healey Sprite - 2014-2018
Fisher Fury Le Mans - 2018-2019

The 2016 SKCC MacGyver award...

System lost my reply earlier. Thanks to all the commented via here, text and calls. Not one comment that it was my fault anyway.
