Tyres Nankang NS-2R v Toyo P888

So, no doubt this has been covered a million times on here somewhere deep within the bowels of the site... Im off on the Euro Tour in 3 weeks... just looking at my P888's on my 140 bhp Fisher Fury.. and thinking of replacing .. they have 2 or at a push 3 mm tread left on them.... thinking of changeable weather etc in Europe...

Car will be going to M-Tech for Tune up Thusrday and then maybe next week for geometry set up with Dave Gallop near castle Combe.


Any suggestions??? and .....goooo!

what size out of interest?
if you're on 13's then these wont work, but many of us swear by r1r's from toyo as opposed to the 888's....

13's was just talking to a mate.. saying about going up to 15's

i have RS2000 wheels 13.... and have the 888 185/60 R13 on front and 205 / 60 R13 rear

that doesn't look good I don't thing they do R1R's in 13.... maybe I'm stuck with the 888

Toyo R888R, Avon ZZS or Avon CR500, if you want a more 'road' tread pattern, all would be good alternative tyres. R1R are not available in 13"

CR500 are fitted to most Caterham cars from the factory. The ZZS is the replacement.

I could go up in wheel size.. which would give me bigger choice of tyres..

from 13" to 14"?

There are a large amount of Motorsport type tyres for 13" and virtually none for 14".
