Flywheel Drilling

Postby Fury1630 » Thu Jun 30, 2016 2:31 pm

Anyone know where I could get my flywheel drilled & tapped for a pinto clutch?

Ideally Surrey / Hampshire, but I can travel if required.

There's a place in reading. Used to be cc engine services bytes they changed their name recently.
MkII Marlin Roadster with Ford 2.0L Pinto and Type 9 gearbox. Going for the oily rag restoration look :-)

I'd forgotten Sutton Rebore - last went there in about 1980 (!)
Think I've been to CC Engine Services too.

If it happens this'll be a winter upgrade, so no rush, but I'm getting fed up with having a left leg twice the size of the right :D .

Roe Engineering? Was Kings Road, Fleet. Now Redfields, Church Crookham. They do real engine work, balancing, etc. Had my big end caps done there by Leon I think.

Or you could try cranford engineering at ashtead I'm sure they would do it. Sutton Rebore did close but has reopened as one of the guys that worked there bought all the gear and I believe has set up in the workshop just behind where they used to be. That's what I heard anyway
