Depends I guess, the pulleys should line up and the belt should sit in the middle of each. Is it the same on both pulleys? If not perhaps one pulley projects further than the other, you may be able to check across the face of the pulleys with a straight edge?

If the other pulleys allow, just move it over a groove. If they don't, I would just keep an eye on it for a while. If it stays where it is, it should work OK.

I had a flint catch in one of my pulleys on a road trip, and it cut off the edge of the belt. Still worked OK, but I changed it when I got home.

Looks like there's rust on the inner most pulley groove, so as has been said, the belt's one groove too far out. Having said that, it's designed to drive an 80 - 100 amp alternator, water pump, power steering pump & aircon pump, for a kit a four groove belt would be fine.
The Gates website decodes the part numbers (it's basically No. of grooves & belt length, so if you work out what you want on the kit, the website will tell you the closest match & what car it's applicable to, which makes it easier in a motor factors.
