How lucky was my mate!!

A very close mate of mine was driving past leeds castle today went over the little bridge he then saw a 10ton lorry coming the other and stopped to let it past then this happen

Good old audi drivers. How he got out unmarked.

The road will be shut most of the night now apparentley

Was the lorry driver ok ? as it appears the cab were he would be has gone

Thankfully we did not need to go out today, and just as well, as my close has been sheet ice most of the day, as the house's across the road block any sunlight to the road, the only ones who got out of the close, were a couple of cars that left around 0600, and all we could hear was CRUNCH CRUNCH ........
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

Thanks all, yes very close if he had stopped another foot up the road i fear it would of been a completely differnt outcome. The foreign lorry driver had a fully dislocated shoulder and was also arresred on scene for dangerous driving. Just goes to show you never know whats around the corner.

Pleased he's ok Jay, notorious bit of road, known for issues with lorries etc. Used as a bit of a rat run to avoid town. The sooner a proper southern bypass is built around Maidstone the better.
