No i mean i have run a leaded xflow head on super with no additve with out any problem (ok not for 10s of thousands of mles granted) when it was timed and the carbs done its was in super it runs like a bag of cack in anything else (some else put normal in it with out me knowing so its not just me thinking it)the new engine thats just been built has got a unleaded head (it came with it) so no dramas there and will be run on it to.i just think if most of us are after a few bhp here and there or losing a kgs etc then use the best why wouldnt you if it has caused any problems.
Luego with a mighty 104bhp!!!

Now i understand. We on the other hand have our cars setup on standard road fuel as thats the place they spend 99 % of the time and when driving around you are proberly only using 2/3 throttle. One thing we have also found is you can allways buy standard road fuel but not the super stuff. Those going to europe would need to keep an eye oen very wide for super as its not sold like in the uk. Not saying dont use it if you want just think about the supply chain. I dont use cheap fuel and keep a watchfull eye on the stuff they add to it. This we do for every thing we own and drive even the old stuff has branded fuel . Its more important than you think when you see aa many fyel filters as we do. Wiuld i have my head and vales changed to unleaded if they needed it. Yes without question.
