Finally home and looks so good.. so pleased with the outcome 8-) 8-)

So 50 miles clocked up tonight and indicators have stopped working and bonnet still lifting up.. tomorrow attach new springs and put an led flasher relay in and see if that works. Other than that she goes like a beaut as always.. rear diffuser catches a bit when hitting a big bump but that was to be expected..

Got to be honest Lee, I was skeptical at first with the colours and the rear wing but I think you have pulled it of very, very well it looks very nice and different.

^^what he said^^ it's got a certain "short oval racer" look to it. Strong concept, well executed :D

The wing works well with the rising line of the cage doesn't it?

I like the colours, re the bonnet movement, I see you've gone horizontal with the fixings , sure Dick was trying something like that with marks but suggested different? Areo catches help ??? Or pins in to the nose cone like westfield do ? Save you having more catches on show

So what we've done to hold the bonnet down is make a bracket that bolts to the cam cover and bolted the other end to the nose cone, the rim where the bonnet sits so it can't be seen. We had to add two more spring catches to pin nit down.. doesn't move now...
However having a lot of trouble with the diffuser... it's broke 2 adjustable splitter brackets this weekend and once at speed I can feel it flexing underneath so it needs stronger brackets made and some more support in the centre...
Other than that I have done 200 mile this weekend and nothing else has happened yet..

Erm, have you just bolted something that shouldn't move (the bodywork) to something that will move (the engine)?

+1

Good news is it will introduce vibration into the chassis and undo a few bolts (weight saving) and you get the eye shake which makes you feel as if you are going quicker than you are (although reading road signs is a bit challenging). :? :?

The body work will flex with the engine come on it's a tiger.. especially the nose come which is only bolted on usually under the radiator....and everything moves on a tiger!
