How do you choose a fuel pressure regulator?

You had injectors made? Why not just buy them off the shelf? Siemens 660cc picos would have been fine.

I had a load of money lying around gathering dust and thought I'd just buy some there's usually a reason why people spend money, mine was time.

So here's another question:

How much injector flow (CC/min) is too much?

...or to put it another way; if you have some injectors that are above the ideal calculated CC for your expected BHP at what point do you go "ah f*#k it, they're not suitable I'll have to buy some new injectors"?

Unless the are stupidly big for your application you will likely get away with it when it is mapped. Too small is too small...obviously.

Better than buying the wrong ones.. mind you at least I've got a choice now and they were only £2.50 each, just don't tell Dick..

Its now possible to buy injectors that are built to what spec you want i:e high or low impedance / different plug connectors / different seal sizes and nozzles for input and outlets / different lengths /and with so many different spray patents / they go up in 50cc inc. So in Robs car we need to get a set to us within 36hrs to match his originals but with extra capacity . Yes we could have got standard off the shelf injectors and prayed to the gods that people that said they had them would be good to their word and ship when needed or go to a trusted supplier and buy at a good price with the knowledge that they would be with us on time with a 2 year warranty.

Injectors in question are 384cc

not the scrap bin.. I need some valve gear bolts, 8 of them, £50 new . God knows how many I've thrown away in your bloody scrap bin..

The injectors didn't work out too bad to be honest, though I don't know if they are any good, got a set of 440's for £250 and 275's for $385(not branded, OEM Bosch style, not sh!tpart) The other option is second hand, branded, flow matched and sonically cleaned. thing is its supposed to be a bit of cheap fun so not willing to go new Bosch.

Problem is I have to buy 8 of everything.. 8 diffs, 8 gearboxes etc etc..
