Well i have just got my car back from the guy's and girl at Snodhurst after a couple of upgrades.
So the story was that i wanted to make the car in my eyes look at little meaner ? plus I felt with my good lady in the car i needed safety as well. After a few discussions with Dick and a good few phone calls as well to Tiger I got a full cage for it. Dick had mentioned a good few months ago about a different fly screen, so I went for a nice carbon one and what a difference that made.
Now there is a little story that comes with the cage. Tiger don't make a cage for my Super Six anymore, you have to modify the R6 one. After I phone Tiger the guy there said to give him 10 mins and ring him back so I did. The guy had found a brand new still wrapped up full cage outside, the cage had been out there for a good few years and needed re powder coating. I spoke to Dick who said after I told him the price go for or he would buy it, so I did. Tiger delivered it direct to Snodhurst for me which was a big help.
Jay sent it away for sand blasting, which took a bit of time due to the state of the cage, but after a week or so Jay collected it and what a massive difference.
Then to fit the cage, now I was away at the time so I left everything to Jay to sort out, a trial fit was done and he sent me a photo which looked very good. A few brackets had to be made and various other things but the out come is absolutely brilliant.

It has certainly changed the look
The aero screen looks like it should give much better protection. Make sure you get plenty of padding on any tubes that you might hit in an accident.
Of course, if you really cared for your wife you'd buy a windscreen

Re: Upgrades
That looks great, always liked the look of the full cage on my R6, makes it look more purposeful, even if my driving style (slowish) didn't really justify it

Re: Upgrades
As a few people have said, it certainly changes the looks.
The one thing I did notice the most was the fly screen, coming back up the M20 i was doing a speed that i dont normally do !! and the buffering about I would have got was certainly reduced by a lot. The ride seemed a lot tighter as well so very pleased with the out come.
All down to Snodhurst of course
