Id go with cutting the damage out, but not making a hole, fill with P40 and then p38, as said above, or araldite, (that's what I used to fill the holes on my Lotus elan)

sand back to an acceptable finish and put a nice big westerfield sticker over it, even if its juts to get back on the road soon

I would get the bits tucked back in so it sits flat again the fibreglass it up from underneath to put some strength back in and filler the top then a squirt of paint job done

It's possible you are over spinning the alternate or it's out of balance or both you should maybe under spine the new one if you do a lot of driving fast or lot of track day's that's what they say.The hole in the nose cone a Naca Ducts will fit and one inside the might fit to can't see that one very well that's cheaper than a repair :o :shock:

Perhaps somebody stuck a screwdriver through the blades to hold it whilst tightening the nut. Might have bent a blade and then straightened it and it was barely hanging on until it didn't when driven hard on track and the g force overwhelmed it.
