Dutton were my intro into the wacky world of kit cars when i was about 19. There was one for sale just down the road and boy did i hanker after that, my daily was a mk1 1.1 fiesta and the test drive in the dutton was (at the time) freaking quick. Thank the Lord that my old man woulnd't give me a 'bridging' loan to allow me to get it before selling the Fiesta.

Fast forward a year and i dragged a pal down to their Worthing HQ to have a go in their 3 litre demo car....oh did we dream and scheme on the drive home! My car related skills at the time amounted to fitting an aftermarket cassette player and speakers into the Fiesta, so again a lucky escape otherwise i'd have been another 'part completed statistic'.
