And so it begins

Postby Nash » Tue Jan 16, 2018 9:47 pm

You may remember before Christmas I bought a Fury with a less than perfect Pinto in it.

So today the work started on getting the Fury ready....... the engine came out of the Indy along with the gearbox and the ECU. Yep, the Fury is getting the zetec, jenveys, ECU to make it a 175bhp proper car.

So here’s the first thing to say. If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested in owning the Fury then PM me and you can influence the spec of the finished car if the price is right.

Progress via this thread will, as ever, be updated.

Did you buy the Fury to do up and sell or are you using it as a replacement for the Indy?

I was only ever going to end up with one car. Having assessed the options on both it became clear updating the drive train in the Fury with my Indy drivetrain made the most sense to make the Fury a great efi car and hence good value added to optimise the sale price.

I’m too emotionally attached to the Indy to sell it so the hope /expectation is to complete ALL the upgrades as cost neutral. In order to do that I need to finish the Fury and sell it for sensible money.

We live in hope.
