Im looking for a terratrip...do any of the members have experience with them.
Looking for one that had two hedsets that work well! And would also love the opportunity to plug in some music so two people can listen and talk over it if need be.... Any ideas which one?

i think a few of the guys have gone the Starcom route - similar to terratrip in that its basically just a hub that can accept a variety of inputs....
tbh - i can't see/justify the cost of the new units.Have wondered about 2nd hand biker autocom units, but in reality i rarely have a pass and the current set up i have for the radio/music works well and i suspect that sound wise it would be a backward step( in my scenario)

one thing you'll need to think about is making sure that it is compatible with your radio if you use one?

I had the Terratrip clubman and it worked great for us. The sound was as clear as a bell and we only ever used with the headsets as opposed to the in helmet type. Only limitation with the clubman model was that it was basic and you would need to go up a level if you want more features.

Worth scanning eBay now and again, starcom’s come up occasionally when bikers upgrade to a digital version.

Lee, I have a Terratrip set up , in fact I bought James one. It is ideal for me and the good lady, had a issue with interference but I sorted that out with a in line suppressor. Its basic as Jame said but works for us. You can plug another source in to it but the volume is poor, anything over 30mph and you cant here a thing. you do get a lot of wind interference as the mikes are out in the elements, I did cut some small pieces of cardboard out and put them under the foam microphone heads facing the front, it helped but didn't cure it. The curly headset cables are a bit of a pain, make sure you position them before you get in the car, they just get caught up and as you know there's not a lot of room to move about once in our cars.
Personally if i was going to do it again i would look for something else, but Im happy with what i have got at the moment.

Starcom are very good Lee you can connect phones , music storage , headsets , 2 way radio , bluetooth , remote volume control, all manner of things. You do need to work out the priority of the items i:e phone will turn off music if it rings

I had Terratrip. It's ok for a budget set up but when it broke I looked a gain at the options. Moved to Stardom and it's miles better. Give us a call if you want I can explain the set up and options. There's at least a couple of Stardom models though.

The 2 eay radio things that people used and now seem to be the norm on long trips can be used with the stacom you just need the lead
