Fan temp Switch help

After purchasing a two prong temp switch i am having major issues wiring it up.

The wiring for the temp switch is hurrendous and im trying to figure it out.

This is what ive got... I have no idea where the wires go with question marks on...

I have bypassed the switch and then i have two wires which when i put a multi meter on and ignition on the MM reads 12v. Withought ignition on or the bypass it reads nothing.

Are these two wires what i wire up to the fan itself and can anybody tell me WHERE they are likely to go so i can inderstand how my cars wired up....

Lee, what sort of switch is it? and what connections are on the back of it? (Sorry two prong) What’s your fan/water pump setup?

Lee, If you can supply some more info sure we can help. If it's a single speed fan it will have two wires, live and earth. The existing earth connection should be able to remain, your new temp control thing acts as a switch in the live supply, if you want turn the fan on manually you need to connect this across the switch (in parallel). What fan and temp control unit do you have, can probably send back a diagram to connect it all up. Cheers Tony
