I have no other info and I’m just following the FB thread. The guy who owns it has just posted another pic as after 40 guesses no-one has got it so far.

Still can't identify it, but I'd date it as a 1956 - 60 design (wrap-around screen)

Not sure how it has a 0-62 time when top speed was 61, but that's Wikipedia for you.

Lots more info here, glas were bought by BMW in 65, they carried over the glas 1700 coupe and rebadged it, the dingolfing Stuttgart site is where they now make the 7series bmw

so I just typed in "1950 small saloon car" in yahoo, and on the second line of pics there it was
