^^ yeah - what he said :D ^^

I have to say, even though I've never been to the Snodhurst A&E, it's a huge comfort to know they are there & have the capabilities to fix the car no matter what I do to it.

Good to read your update David. Looks like it'll be back better (well, stiffer and stronger) than it was before. Good job by Snods! :)

Good news, I saw some of the early stages of the work when I picked up the Fury, it all looked very thorough and professional as usual. Good luck with refitting the body work, etc.

And on the other side of the garage, all chassis tubes behind the rear bulkhead, old and new, have been cleaned back and treated to a healthy dose of epoxy enamel. Ain't ever going to be any rust back there! Started cleaning the tubes in the cockpit area ready for painting. Then it will be time to trim the new ali panels.

If you want to clean up your chassis before painting I recommend the Screwfix scourer type drill attachment. Light application, just keys the sound powdercoat, a little longer removed the powdercoat and more still will remove any surface rust. About £8 and still a bit of life left. Use in the cordless for maximum access to tighter areas.

Might take a bit longer as want to do it right. E.g. cage really needs a re powdercoat. Stupidly picked the cage up by the Longacre mirror. Old one was metal and worked well as a handle. This one is plastic (after the pigeon incident), now with pieces of glass!

David there is a good powder coaster near me. I have used them a few times and they have been sensible on price and the work was great. Let me know if you need an intro?

Yes please Paul. I've got a gate to try as a QC test first. ;) assume they do the shot blasting too?
