I added A-Plan breakdown cover for £40 I think.
Damn good job too as I broke down on the journey home from buying the car and then again 6 weeks later - Recovered twice this year so far - £40 well spent

That price is a Specialist product we have secured for Kits that are insured with us, if your Kit isn't with us then we are unable to offer this figure - it would be the Standard cover of £90 for vehicles aged 16years or younger, £115 for vehicles aged over 16years.
We use AXA assistance and I've had to use them a few times on my old car! - very good

I have AA cover as it covers you, in what ever you drive and at any time
The policy i had for the Mondeo last year, that came with the insurance policy, only covered the Mondeo, and no other vehicle, hence being so cheap

One thing I found with breakdown firms a few years ago, is that only the AA and RAC would cover a car over 10 years old! I tried some of the other big firms (Green Flag, National, etc) and as my daily driver is over 10 years old, it would not be covered!
