I have developed a very annoying squeak from my o/s rear suspension. In a straight line or turning right you cant here it, any left hand turn you can, it gets worse the harder you turn left. I have done the WD40 thing and yes it helped, well it stopped for a while and then has come back again, not as bad as before but is still there in my right ear. I have checked the shock and spring, I have poly bushes on my car do i have to buy new ones ?
Any suggestions my good people.

Re: Squeaky Suspension
On my car I took the poly bushes out and cleaned, checked and then refitted using some rubber grease which seems to have lasted really well and not washed out

Re: Squeaky Suspension
if you can locate the noise to a specific bush then great, otherwise it’s a case of taking all the suspension apart and re-greasing the bushes and crush tubes. At least that what it took in my experience - cured the creaks by doing everything.

Re: Squeaky Suspension
Dick put me onto marine grease, sorted mine out, have most of a tub left if you just want some, leave me some for the rebuild.

Re: Squeaky Suspension
Ok guys thank you , so it sounds like a take a part job and re grease. Makes sense , I’ll be doing that very soon.
Rich , if I can’t get any grease of sorts from work I’ll give you a bell.
Thanks again all.
