Aylesford Bulls.
Went along to the local rugby derby between Aylesford Bulls and Maidstone. Aylesford won with the last kick of the match. Managed to get a few shots, nothing special and not that many.. The pick of the better shots here.. Both Mark and myself missed a try scored right in front of us.. too slow Lots of scope for improvement.

Re: Aylesford Bulls.
bad day at the office for me piccie wise....learned a lot from that outing!
here's a few that i deem 'acceptable'....prob more for how the pic related to the game rather than quality.
Funny thing was, have never watched Aylesford, never had any affinity to them....but for me sport is a tribal thing, rooting for whoever .....hell by the end of the game when the match was won on a converted penalty in overtime i was properly in the 'Hell Yeah' mode. Pity its a bit of a drive, otherwise could happily plot up watch a game and get involved with a beer or 7.
That ending, and the twists and turns was epic.
By the way....learned something about SD cards. After i loaded the SD into the lappie i accessed 1 folders worth of pics, later on went to access the 2nd folder and the lappie said ' no way Jose, there's nothing in that folder'. Swapped the card into the camera and another lappie...both said ''''nope, no pics in there'....
found a program on the web - a freebie that recovered all the pics AND another 200 that i deleted months ago....amazing how much 'stuff' stays on cards even when you think you've lost them!

Re: Aylesford Bulls.
Nice one Mark. Hard old game to capture, not impressed with any of mine so far, maybe a lack of passion compared with motorsport, though what is there to grab? Face, ball, action, and jobs a good’un. The gang were pleased with the shots, shed load of likes and feedback on Facebook and that’s what counts. I guess the passion over rides the the tech viewpoint.
I rushed mine to get them out while the lads were on the juice that evening.. too much vivid option and little care over composition. Re did a few, a couple of the better ones here.
Agree on the sense of belonging/loyalty and you gotta love the underdog. Next home match 3rd November. I’m sure we can work out logistics and beer if you fancy it.
Btw well done, you managed to capture the winning and final kick of the game.

Re: Aylesford Bulls.
At Aylesford Bulls today, tough game. Ended up taking the team photograph as the photographer was a no show, thankfully it was passable.
Conditions were awful, drizzle/rain no light. The game didn't come to me. Funny how things happen though, probably got my best shot yet, despite the conditions. Team image below along with my shot of the day

Nope, taken from the technical area.. rest of the shots were pretty poor. Heart wasn’t in it because of the conditions. Was going to pack up at half time but joined Billy in the technical area and snapped occasionally. Not a good result for the Bulls.
Away at Heathfield Saturday, weather looking a lot better, so might swing down there.

Re: Aylesford Bulls.
At Heathfield today, Team are on a bit of a downer.. lost again, hopefully they’ll sort themselves out for the second half of the season. From a photography perspective crap conditions again. No light lots of wind and rain. ISO 6400 so starting to get grainy, couldn’t go any slower on the shutter speed which was 1/500 otherwise too much motion blurring.
Best shot from the day below, complete with rain..
