So my nephew was in his car this morning, drove up to a junction at low speed, car already there but slightly to one side (curb side) stopped with room, once he (nephew) was stationary the driver in front started without any warning and no indication to reverse, nephew starts to sound horn but impact was inevitable causing quite a lot of damage to the bumper, with and moved bonnet to one side so a lot seeing as my nephews car is brand new, impact car then gets out and tries today my nephew is at fault as he was too close to him and should of known what he (impact driver) was doing, he then went on to say I’m not admitting liability for this so you’ll have to go through your insurance and let them decide, I’ve googled some stuff but it seems to be a bit of a grey area plus the insurance company (nephews one) said 95% of these sort of impacts end up 50/50 as there’s no proof my nephew didn’t hit him
I can’t believe all this seeing as this blokes a middle aged guy (50 odd) not some chancer, any legal bods on here that could give some advice ??
