British GT Qualifying Brands Hatch
Popped along yesterday to catch a bit of the action. Conditions were greasy/wet which made for a bit of off track action. Decided to stay at Surtees and catch the cars heading out to the GP loop as I wanted to practise some slow shutter speed panning around a corner and catch more than one car in the frame as well. Needless to say there were not that many keepers.

Great shots Mike, do love a Mk2 escort. The one with the marshals and the black and yellow car in the fore ground, like that.
Tbh Mike I like them all.

Thanks all, trying to develop my approach and be a bit more creative in catching the movement. The Marshall with the phones was really friendly, kept us up to speed with incidents, safety cars etc, quite an insight to race control. I guess he was the boss at that particular post. Sent him the images, he was very grateful which was nice.
James took a few using the 90D and the 70-200 lens. Didn’t make it easy for himself at Hawthorn and Stirling with the cars getting a lick on.. Some of James shots below.
