Hi From Lordswood

Postby Spyder 9 » Mon May 16, 2011 8:07 pm

Hi everyone
I'm Cameron and drive a GTM Spyder powered by 160 BHP VVC which was the first car I have ever built ! I had no previous mechanical automotive skills but after 3 years of building on one night a week and the occasional weekend when I had earned enough garage points from my understanding wife I got Spyder 9 through it's SVA test first time :o
I've been heavilly involved with Team GTM which I was one of the founder members until recently when I decided after 8 years it was time for someone else to take hold of the reigns and spend some quality time to enjoy my car more.

I did see you guy's at Detling last year and was impressed with the display you put on and hope to meet up with some of you at the weekend.
I have to blame Lee aka "furyblade lee" for my signing up as he was telling me how good you guys are so with such a recommendation it would be rude not to join in.

hopefully I'll get the opportunity to join in on some run outs and maybe a trackday as well.

Cheers

Cam

James - you didnt expect Lee to stay quiet for long did you?

Welcome to the fold Cam, must have a closer look at your car ( or GTMs in general) always struck me as an interesting car.

Mmmm nice - Looked at building a Libra myself but it was too many pennies at the time.

James, I think he meant "Vee Vee See" not "Double You See", though a car powered by a loo could be good for one or two members on here.
