For Sale: 2000 Mazda MX-5

Postby bobg_24 » Mon May 30, 2011 6:46 pm

New Co Car forces reluctant sale of my wife's 'Classic Red' MX-5 on an 'X' plate.

Mazda MX-5 Isola
1.6 engine - just over 79000 miles
4 good Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres
Soft top is in excellent condition as it spends the winter with the hard top on
Hard top is included in the sale - complete with storage bag & wall fixings

I've fitted:
EBC green stuff pads - transformed the braking ability!
Chromed 'Style bars'
Chromed vent rings
Electric aerial
Central locking
New leather gearstick gaiter & new pedal rubbers (fitted this week)

Service history with 6 months tax and MoT - both due to expire in November '11.

Looking for £2595 or v. near offer. Couple of photos below & others available on request.

Will shrink these when I get a bit more time but if anyone is interested then please PM or e-mail me.

Thanks,

Bob

Underated cars. My neighbour has a very tuned MX5 that he tracks everywhere. Complete with sticker on the rear saying "No hair products are left in this car overnight"

Almost turned up at the Alps tactics evening in the WIFES MX-5, they are good, must admit, although she is finding it very heavy on the fuel for some reason, £50 for a tank full and she's only getting about 250 miles out of it!!

but then again it is skool runs most of the time

Tony,

Got 320+ miles to a tank out of ours at about 35 to the gallon. Couldn't fault it at all!

Would have kept it if we'd had space in the garage!

One of the best cars ever for sale in the uk IMHO - simple, effective and a good price. By way of illustration I my dad's MG (which he's trying to sell) is worth only about the same money as Bob's car, yet is a 2004 car, with stupidly low miles, full history, the right colour and all the toys. Trust him to buy a new car from a company that then went bust. Other highlights were buying that Triumph Bonneville and selling it to Nigel's mate a couple of months later and coming back from Greece thinking that a Suzuki Jimny would work in the UK
