Hi all

new to the scene, got my first Tiger on sunday last week, crashed on the same day, now waiting for the car to be repaired.

I am from Oxford, is there any from this region?

Welcome Steve

I'm near Bracknell so nearer to you than many in the club.

I'm also in the "waiting for car repair" club and have been since Xmas Eve.

Hopefully yours will be sorted in a shorter timescale than mine...

Ooops! Hope it's not too badly damaged, and it hasn't put you off! Good to have another Tiger on board, welcome Steve.

Hi Steve, welcome :)

Sorry to hear that. It's a horrible feeling arriving home with a new car already broken.
I crashed a Lotus Elan less than an hour after buying it in 1994, it came home on the back of a recovery truck and cost £7500 to repair.
I hope yours is much less badly damaged.

not too much damage, the front wheel was buckled this has been repaired, OSF wheel out off alignment, couple of deep scratches and broken alternator casing, has a missfire, insurance assessor came today, and Tiger Racing collected the car today as well, so hopefully I might get it back in a week or 2

looking at going to detling all being ok

that's the way to look at it - have a target to aim at. ;) Hope to see you at detling then and we'll talk you into the SKCC Road Trip as a latecomer. That way we'll pass quite close to your place - as long as you do the first 4 days :D

Hi Steve, and welcome! Read about your mishap on the Tiger owner's forum. Quite a way to start ownership of a new car... Hope you get it fixed soon, grip will be coming to our shores again soon. Fingers crossed...
