So you've just joined, why not say a few words to introduce yourself - a bit about you, your car - whatever!

Well after a over a year of using the SKCC forum I only just realised you had to update the members map yourself!. Yes I know 'idiot' and maybe I should've looked before but the reason for my post is just to encourage people to add their details when they join straight onto the map, I'm nearly on the road and starting to look at routes and local club members interested in blatting Hampshires best !

Also noticed that some of the members marked as very local to me are not listed in the members list, is this just cos they have now moved on from the kit car scene?

There was a clean up on the forum of members that had registered but never posted and hadnt revisited the site for so many months so I guess these were people put on the map at the beginning, removed from the forum but the map not updated!

Updating the map might be a tad difficult (or time consuming) but would be good if members who havent added themselves can

Tony is right. I cleaned up the members list a couple of times, based on activity on the forum or of course joining in wih runs. However pruning the members map wasn't feasible at the time. I will try to revisit that as it is a useful tool ( when folks find it ).....

I use the members map quite a lot, to find out people's real names, and to see where they live. Very useful!
