Hi from Crunchie in Bracknell

Postby Crunchie Gears » Tue May 22, 2012 2:07 pm

Hi all

My brother and I have just bought a Westfield FW400 primarily as a track day car and for sunny days and holidays. The good news is that we keep it in my garage :D . I am booked on a track day at Bedford on 28 May for my first run out in the car  .

I am looking forward to getting involved.

Oh I have seen it is not done not to attach a picture. I have not worked out how to make them small enough so I have included a link to a post my brother made on another site (scroll down for the pictures from aeroman). http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/90398/1

Cheers

Welcome. We are now expecting lots of sunny days so we hope to see you out and about soon.

I am one of those in the Bracknell area. Drop me a PM (via the button at the bottom of the posting) - interested to know exactly where you are. You might live just round the corner :)

Hi all,

Thanks for the sentiments, appreciated. I sure we will meet up.

Mangofury it would be great to make contact. Not sure how to do private email but I am near Southill Park. I have always like the Fury, good looking and effective car. It has a retro Costain look which works.

You might be able to show me how to use the site too!

Due to my lack of skill do drop me a PM. Thanks in advance.

Glad to see you've been paying attention! And a nice looking silver and black machine it is, that will be a nice contrast to add to the Sunday morning breakfast runs.

Can't decide whether that's a smart move having it stashed at yours, you get to nip out in it on a sunny evening, but you might be expected to fix it when bits start falling off

Welcome to the club, and obvoiusly pictures of your track day will be required also :D And love the "handle", just don't do it on track.

Good call Red27. You got my brother right, do you know him, he will do non of the spanner work.

The colour dark grey is sort of par for the car as it is the carbon fibre tub and they did not paint the chassis.

The Crunchie Gears is a fact, for someone of my driving ability, as the car has Hewland dog box. So it is a statement of fact. you are right, I need to learn to drive it before the track day.

Looking forward to meeting you all.
