Guys as a heads up.....
i'll be selling a 2.0 blacktop, this will be coming out of the car that i have just bought and had been newly fitted by Tiger approx 3 years ago.
Twin dellorto 45's with weber alpha management, obviously the engine will come 'dressed' with starter/alternator, clutch etc - basically ready to transplant in 1 hit with nothing extra needed ( comes with a raceline sump ). I have a power run graph done yesterday showing a shade over 160bhp, merely a power run and not a tweaking session - so i'd imagine with a fettle that would be tweaked to a healthy 168-170bhp. Not bad as the exhaust has a 'Cat'.
I will also have the corresponding primaries and silencer ( aiming to get it noise tested next week if anyone worried about track days).
Not in a tearing hurry to sell, more a heads up in case someone is thinking of changing their 'lump' in the coming weeks.
send me a PM or give me a call....

I'll noise test it at the weekend if you want mate. I've recently acquired a professional noise meter.

When you say newly fitted do you mean it was a new engine when it was fitted? How many miles has it done if new? How many if not new (not that you'd probably know that..)?
Can you have it out by next weekend please?

Does that work on people Dan? If so, can I borrow it please?....... On second thoughts, you probably want it back in one piece, so activating it anywhere near Paul is probably not a good idea

Back on topic, anyone for Mark's engine then?

Re: 2.0 blacktop complete.........
the car has done 7500 miles and was reg in 2005 - so equivalent of 1k a year, the engine was fitted approx 2.5-3 years ago as a 'nigh on new engine' - it had been taken out of another r6 by tiger as the owner was replacing with a duratec. as you know i'm not 'hot' around a spanner but to my eyes the engine looks spot on - i know teh obvious answer is but 'yeah you can only see the outside'......but often the outside gives a clue as to whether it was kicking around in someones shed for years! On top of which - again this is a personal thought as opposed to hard fact, the seller of the car was a tad fussy about looking after his car - ie/ adding the electric water pump, generally looking after tyhe car to the nth degree and i seriously doubt that he'd have accepted any old tat as a replacement. It was only replaced because the original holed a sump and messed the rest of the engine up.

Besides, the power output is a good indication the pistons and valves are sealing pretty well.
Sounds nicely run in to me
