yes very pleased, a guy looked at it last saturday and didnt buy it because the bonnet catches were loose and the gear gaitor was worn out a little....
then a bloke just popped round on sunday had a drive in it and a good look around and bought it...he picked it up saturday apparently... well chuffed....although didnt get full asking price, but who does? saved me 300 quid on the transporter to wales though so didnt loose too much on the price..
hmm maybe a little upgrade on mine now? im thinking some new polybushes allround? and a new, bigger fuel tank??

Well done Lee the people on e bay are either great or complete tw*ts. I see Bill has had to re-list his Locost because of some time waster.
Good luck with the spending, suggest a pair of water wings would be a good buy at the moment.

thanks,
i had a hell of a lot of strange folk view the car.... :|
one didnt ask me anything about the car and drove from Edinburgh to find out he didnt actually like tigers,
one guy was adament he was buying from all the pictures i sent him of the engine and details i sent him.... i turned it down because it had 2 loose bonnet catches and a gear gaitor with a hole in, he sent me a shitty email saying the car was mucky... it sold the next day to a serious buyer who had been in the motor trade for 35 years... he said it was in great condition and he didnt haggle because he loved it...
part of me is saying...dont spend anything on my r6?? the other half is saying spend it all! lol.. im not going to make the same mistake i did with the yellow one this time so its going in the bank with a little treat to the R6 just to spruse her up i think... :D

Lee,

Good news re selling the Tiger. Personally I'd stick with the existing body panels, if its too shiny and new looking you won't want to go out in it........if you're considering new poly bushes, particularly at the rear I'd be tempted to go for the 'insurance' of the new design de-dion and rose joints for the trailing arms while you're at it. Not a cheap upgrade, but gives you peace of mind.

Alternatively I'll be doing a deal on an upgraded scuttle/dash combo in the near future

Cheers
