Re: WANTED progressive shift light
Does your ECU have an output wire? I put a bright LED in an Ebay stainless steel cigar tube mounted on the glare shield. £4 the lot - but then I'm mean.

Re: WANTED progressive shift light
at the risk of going off at a tangent, i saw that Paul had wondered if shift lights were a gimmic and i thought the same - until i decided on a progressive one.
i figured that bouncing off the limiter would tell me i'd run out of revs......whereas the progressive one can obviously be set for what you want.
i used to have mine wired so that the 1st 2 lights were set to come on a bit above max torq and the last one came on a shade before the soft cut, the others came on inbetween.....
worthwhile? down to individual taste i guess......i see they've increased in price a fair bit, think mine was about £70 which was pretty easy to justify, at £100+ for some ....mmm that would take consideration.

Re: WANTED progressive shift light
Fitted mine (for sprinting) after running a basic data logger which shows how consistent the car is at accelerating and the only difference was the driver input.
Dont really use it on the road, took me a long time to focus solely on the lights and not the tacho - but much better once i did.
