Nope - Ford designed a twin cam head for the last run out sierra's but only popped 8 valves in them. From a very distant memory it was used in the 2l class of touring class (being able to time the cams independently is helpful).

As I recall its a pinto underneath the head. Sorry Bigstuff I hate to say it but I was right ;)

Sort of - the Pinto - DOHC is a bit like the Crossflow & the Valencia engine. They look the same, one was developed from the other but almost none of the parts are interchangeable.

Cheers people

I think im going to be changing the engine to a 2.0 black top (what ive got/selling) and run it on carbs

Im gonna wait for the Detlin hill show in april first have a look and get some ideas and maybe some parts then go from there with the engine :D

Does a 2.0 blacktop mate up to a MT75 box??
