Guys I'm reposting this from Fb. Lee's bro Ben is organising the activity and I have volenteered to sort out the skcc contingent
Bens words follow.
Hi all,
I'm trying to organise lee a stag do at some point before the wedding, initial thoughts are the weekend of 8th November (the weekend before the wedding). Lee still can't confirm due to his pirate slaying priorities! However I'm guessing he's going to be home by then.
The plan will be to meet up on the sat 8th, about 1200-1400 to give people chance to travel from around the country!
1200: lunch at lees!! Option to meet at racing venue. Postcode TBC
1400: Dune buggy racing (go cart style, off road racing, buggies, Grand Prix type competition with forfeits for the slowest racer etc)
1530: Clay pigeon shooting (Aimed at novice shooters, 30 clays each, option for more at further costs)
On completion: move to hotel/change for night
1800: meet at TBC
1930: Food (local area) can anyone recommend anywhere half decent, not too pricey???
On completion: drink 'til drunk!!
1100 (9th) : Breakfast (hotel or local area) Disperse on completion!
Current quotes for the activities only are £80 the location is TBC
Accommodation: there are numerous hotels and B&B's around bath. However with numerous people living in the Bath area I will leave it up to you to book your own accommodation if required. I recommend the travel lodge as it is bang central and 2 man rooms are <£60.
WHAT I REQUIRE FROM YOU........
1. Confirmation of attendance and perceived meeting time and place (lee's house/ activity venue)
2. Funds for activities £80 to my personal bank account: Barclays sort code:, Account No: with ref' STAG
3. Post on this group page your name and contact number and wether you are willing to share a room. Please feel free to contact other members to arrange sharing a room if required.
