Hi Luke

welcome, Its your car, and if you want the arches up that high, its fine, its your car !
would it take much to lower them , may leave some holes but perhaps some large pop rivets could fill them ?

Steve

Welcome along Luke. Yes, I know, bit late, but I've been (still am) lurgied over Xmas.

As for the rear wings, I'm not laughing so much. Your car's got no people on board in those shots. My first trip "overseas" in my Tiger was a day trip to Ypres with SKCC. My other half came as my passenger on that occasion, instead of in his own car, as it was my first time driving abroad. He's 6' 2", about 16st. About half way through the trip, one of our group noticed I had been accumulating a load of "marbles" on the inside of my driver side rear wheel arch :? Basically, my extra "ballast" had altered the ride height somewhat  Needed a new tyre when I got home. Basically, the rear arch was behaving like a can opener :o

It's always worth getting feedback from others watching you/your car on the road, because there's stuff just wouldn't know otherwise. Or alternatively just plonk a big person in your passenger seat. Worked for me :D
