you could be right Kenton, i may be getting soft.....

Yes Neil that's effectively what it'll be a half hood, fitted tight around the front rollbar, dropping down a few inches either side and then again a few inches at the rear. It'll be tensioned from the rear, and the front will be a mix of commercial hook/tie and poppers, with a cple of extra fixings to the diagonal bar.....made from similar stuff to the existing tonneu.

Right bit of an update.
Simon ( the trimmer ) popped round on Saturday with a rough template in a thin vinyl to play around with the fitting and for me to give him a rough idea about how long/short i want the overhang on the sides... Considering it was a so called rough version that was pretty good and the fit was very close, just needed a tiny bit taking in on 2 sewn edges at the rear.

Whilst he was round i asked him to give a rough indication of pricing for a centre zipped tonneu made out of heavy gauge vinyl.....
To give you lot an idea he reckons around £220/250.and if required he can add in zips so that the tonneu's can turn into half doors etc.
