Hi Pete,

Can I have first dibs on the K&N's please. But before I commit to buy I need to ask the following:

Are the K&N's socks? If yes does it mean that you have three when four are needed for a complete fitment?

If these are not socks then can you elaborate please?

I do need to filter all the horns. (Suppose it goes without saying). ;)

No they are cotton filters with Stainless Steal front and back plates like this:

http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-fitment-type/parts-by-carburettor-all/kn56-1170.html

Two are 83mm and one is 60mm I think (I will double check tomorrow), one (as pictured) will cover one twin carb.

Yes, I'm over at North Weald on 13th March, but I based in Chelmsford - not a million miles away.

The block has been bored to 1700cc 83.5mm pistons and has been inspected and confirmed that it can take the next size up but it will take it over 1700cc. I will try and did out some pictures for you.

Yep, includes crank, flywheel, clutch cover all lightened and balanced, all rods and caps. Also includes various tensioner and bits from inside but everything is stripped down.

Doesn't include sump, mounts, cam, duplex timing wheel and chain.

I don't think I can take it to North Weald as we have quite a log of gear already for sprinting and not much room. Not looking for a hugh amount for it, was originally up for £50.

Pete,

Sorry these filters will not fit under my bonnet (Tried some before).

Its all to do with cutting a hole in the side of the bonnet and the forward bonnet clip being in the way etc.

So its down to a second dibber now then.

Thanks anyway

Ian
