New Member Gillingham
My Name is Richard but i have been called Dick from birth im very old 6'2" and over 19 stone and thats not fat ill add. Well i'v joined at last, Im in Gillingham and im getting to old to keep telling my boys how to do things. So now im going to show them . I have worked in all levals of motor sport both in the usa and hear in the uk. I now own a modest size garage /mot center and car sales. This now gives me the time to play.I brought a Tiger cat E1 in dec 2009 and it was used most of 2010 I changed the engine from the 2.0 pinto into a 2.1 with as much as i could do to it. It was fun but i wanted more, as dont we all .The fun begain when i asked what others had running in the E1 and got the usual replies, i then asked has no one ever fitted a Cosworth Turbo The replies i recived well not in print . Its mad / to much / cant be done / That was it! cant be done red rag to a bull. Within 2 months the old was out and a new cosworth was ready to fit with a T5 gearbox. It has taken a time but now its in and running im awaiting the bonnet and nose then im out playing. Befor you ask yes my son's did help and no my wife wont go in it but the Grand kids love cars and cant wait for a spin. Hope to catch a few of you around before the summer ends

Hi Dick
Just browsing through the forum and came across your post.
Interesting that you have your own facilities in Gillingham and that you do MOT's.
Presumably since you understand kit cars, your MOT centre would be kit car friendly, so might be worth letting us know where you are.
Cheers
Mike
Oh, and by the way, welcome.
