Hello from Richard in Pulborough.

Postby Teranchelope » Fri Aug 17, 2012 7:08 am

Am currently near completion (whatever that is?) of a 'special'. Seven style but longer/wider than standard, 2.0l Pinto etc.
Doing all the fiddly bits now!
Anybody lives near P'borough welcome to come and chat/look (will be in garage round the back if no answer at door! He He).
Seeking a windscreen soon....have posts, anybody hears of one... 8-)

Richard

Hi Richard and welcome to the club, theres a few near you and quite a few of our runs go through Pulborough, my advice - forget the windscreen, just get in it and drive it :)

See you soon

Yeading (kind of Heathrow-ish) or there's one in Kent - place beginning with "G" - help me out here someone, Mitcham, Southampton. Nothing close at all.

I can recommend Yeading, guy knows his stuff & is fair, Southampton has a bad reputation, perhaps doing grey imports all day means they go to town on the details??

I got brownie points with the tester for driving the car there.

Welcome!

I can recommend Yeading, very fair. I passed second time, about six months ago.

Yes, we often come through Pulborough. Keep an eye out for run outs that way and give us a shout if you are about. Some are early though!

Richard,

Welcome to SKCC, if you ever want to join us for a passenger ride on a run to Goodwood or to the west generally please shout, there's likely to be someone with a passenger seat available

Cheers

Hi Richard and welcome, good luck with the rest of the build, screens can be cheap, got a copy of my cracked one done at a local glaziers for 20 odd quid and could get the correct etching as well, getting the frame though another matter !!

Hi Richard and welcome. Yeading is your best bet as said before. Hope to see you out and about soon.

Btw you should start the paperwork as soon as because its not a five minute job.

I assume you jave all the build photos and jave been following the IVA manual?

Once again welcome.
