London Blat 21st Oct Mcdonalds Docklands e14 5sp 7:30am

Postby Pistol » Wed Sep 05, 2012 7:22 pm

Organizing an Essex WSCC City of London Blat on 21st Oct, anybody want to join us?

Initial idea is to head down the A13 early Sunday morning towards the city with a quick lap of docklands, followed by the lime house link and into the City for another lap, a quick stop outside Lloyds and the tower of london then onto Westminster and a quick loop of Hyde Park then back down Regent Street (wave at the Ferrari shop) then salute Nelson before heading over the river and ready to head over Tower Bridge on the way home again.

I know lots of you are south of the river, but happy to have several starting positions, who's up for it?

Yesh, sounds interesting. I did the (slightly shortened) London evening run last year, which was pretty good.

Pete......edit my last remark about the Caterham guys, think they're delaying for a week. You might want to check but looks like there's a half marathon on the 21st , no idea of teh route and whether it would affect you in any way?

Some research by Smokey Mark suggests that the Half Marathon has been moved to 28th Oct, so 21st is go.

Neil - if I send you a copy of the route could you cast an eye over it. I have read on the blatchat thread that the Mall is not open on Sundays, not sure if this is true :?: .
